Assignment 2 Progress Devlog


I have achieved basic game funcionality, including:

1. The player game object.
2. The shooting mechanic.

3. Enemies.
4. Basic scene switching.

I have made one test level to see how it all operates, in order to do this I had to create a tile palette which can be seen in the attached files along with a screenshot of the level itself. I made the tile pallete sprites in a free online image editor and imported them into the project.

I also managed to get a laser pointer style line working to aid in aiming a shot, as well as menu, death, fail and success scenes implemented correctly.
